Class A warehousing Facilities in Shushary

The largest manufacturer of monitors and LCD TVs TPV Technology opens its first production in Russia. The company rented 19,000 sq m in AKM Logistics warehouse facility in Shushary. Colliers International St. Petersburg was the consultant for the transaction. The deal was one of the largest in 2011 in the market of industrial and warehouse real estate in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region.

St. Petersburg, Russia, June 21, 2011 -- TPV Technology will organize an automated full cycle production line in the rented areas to assemble monitors and LCD TVs for the world's biggest brands. Planned production capacity is up to 1 million LCD and plasma panels. Up to 90% of the capacity will be used by Philips products; TPV is also in talks with other major vendors for contract manufacturing.

The official opening of the plant was held on June 21. This is the second production in AKM Logistics industrial-warehouse facility: in 2009 Scania leased 10,000 sq m to accommodate its trucks joint assembly plant.

A Plus Development held a large-scale reconstruction and modernization of the complex on turn-key conditions in conformity with the technical parameters of TPV. In particular, ventilation and air conditioning in manufacturing and office premises, CCTV and access control were installed. Inside the complex an administrative and laboratory unit was constructed. Electrical system was fully modernized, including supply with additional power capacities. In the process of reconstruction, fit out was carried out, including the construction of a glass facade and entrance lobby with natural stone finish.
